Yoga Frequently Asked Questions.

How do I sign up for a class? Can I sign up in person?

All students must create an online account with us via Momence to attend classes. Students are able to purchase a single class, a class package, or a membership via Momence

Click on the yoga membership tab and scroll down to purchase a membership, class package, or single class.

The easiest way to book a class once you have purchased a class is through the Momence App (iOS or Android).

You can also book classes using your Momence account via our website under the yoga membership tab. Scroll down to the calendar and click the class you wish to book.

Do you have any intro specials?

Our current promotion is 2 weeks for $45 for unlimited classes which can be purchased on our Momence checkout page. After this special, you can purchase our $150/month membership.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that things come up. If you’re unable to attend your class, we ask that you cancel at least 2 hours prior to the start time.

We are unable to credit classes back to you if you cancel outside of that time frame.

The easiest way to book and cancel classes is through the Momence App which you can download to your smartphone.

You can also cancel class through your account on Momence.

*Cancellations by phone will not be considered outside of emergencies.

How do I cancel a class in Momence?

1. Log into Momence

2. Under “Upcoming Bookings”, click the 3 dots on the right side of the class you wish to cancel

3. Click the 3 dots and click “Cancel Yourself”.

*Early cancel-if your class is canceled within the permitted time frame you will receive class credit
*
Late cancel-if you cancel later than the permitted time frame, you will not receive class credit

How do ClassPass cancellations work?

ClassPass has their own cancellation policy and these must be done via the ClassPass App. Unfortunately because it’s a different system, The Center SF cannot cancel ClassPass classes.

As ClassPass users are third-party users, all reservation issues/changes go through ClassPass, you must reach out to their customer experience team directly via the ClassPass app.

If you signed up for a class through Classpass and are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation directly through your ClassPass account. Keep in mind that you may incur a cancellation fee if you cancel your booking within 12 hours of start time. You can view the ClassPass cancellation policy here.

Can I show up late to a class?

As a courtesy to our students we do not allow entrance into class 10 minutes past class start time. Please arrive on time and check in with a staff member or volunteer before class begins.

What is the right class for beginners?

Those new to yoga can start with Slow Flow Vinyasa classes. Although these are not necessarily easier classes, the flow is slower and can offer more time to engage in poses. Another great option for beginners are our All Bodies Kundalini, Somatic Movement, and Release and Flow and Restore classes.

What class should I take if I want to challenge myself?

Power vinyasa is a high intensity workout and a good option for those looking for a more intense workout.

Do I have access to tea and the teahouse before and after class?

During Teahouse hours from 12pm-10pm, on days students are attending yoga class, they receive full access to the space and unlimited self-serve tea before and after class.

Please be mindful that the teahouse opens at 12pm and access to tea will not be available before 12pm.

How you handle credit card processing fees?

At The Center SF, we pass credit card processing fees onto the customer to help sustain our community space and keep our offerings accessible. These fees cover the costs imposed by payment processors, allowing us to allocate more resources toward expanding our class schedule, supporting our teachers, and maintaining our space. By sharing this cost, you’re directly contributing to the growth and sustainability of our mission.
